My Journey: From Service to Corporate Life

Like many veterans, my transition from military service into the corporate world was not straightforward.

The structure, clarity, and purpose of military life are very different from corporate environments.
I faced challenges understanding corporate language, expectations, career paths, and professional identity outside the uniform.

Over time, through experience, learning, setbacks, and growth, I built a career in the corporate world while staying rooted in the values shaped by military service.

This journey taught me that veterans don’t lack capability — we often lack translation, guidance, and context.

Why I Created Strike to Success

Strike to Success was created to document and share lessons that I wish I had access to earlier in my transition.

This platform exists to:

Share practical frameworks and tools
Reduce confusion and self-doubt
Provide clarity around careers, resumes, interviews, and professional growth
